    Our opening hours are: - Monday to Friday: 8.00am - 5.30pm - Saturday: 9.00am – 4.00pm - Sundays & Bank Holidays: 9.00am – 4.00pm Check for special opening hours over Christmas & New Year. Should you wish to take out a storage unit then please call us or email us to arrange an appointment to make sure we make your trip as efficient as possible. Note that this is our office opening hours for enquiries and new setting up new storage agreements. For hours that existing storage customers can access their units see the relevant FAQ under Access & Security.
  • How do I give feedback?
    All customer feedback is highly appreciated and should be sent to our normal email address info@storagogo.co.uk. We also seek customer feedback from all of our departing customers to help us continually improve our services.
  • Why should I choose Storagogo Self Storage?
    Storagogo Self Storage is conveniently located close to Binfield, Wokingham and Bracknell and short drive from the A239M and M4 but in a rural setting away from the busy traffic in the town centres. We offer specially designed storage units with a high level of security with CCTV, personal access control and individual alarmed units for additional peace of mind. All our units are ground floor with drive-up access – that means no lifts and no carrying your belongings up stairs! Access to units is possible 7 days a week including early mornings and late evenings during weekdays. Perfect for business or personal use! We are a family business with 30 years’ experience in serving the local community from Stokes Farm and offer a personal and friendly service and we can’t wait to hear from you!
  • What areas do you serve?
    Storagogo Self Storage is conveniently located near Binfield, between Wokingham, Reading and Bracknell. We are under 5 minutes from the A329M and under 10 minutes from junction 10 of the M4. Ideal for storers living in Wokingham, Woodley, Winnersh, Bracknell, Hurst, Reading, Binfield and beyond. Away from the busy traffic of the town centres.
  • How do I book an appointment to sign up?

  • Can I view the facilities before moving in?
    Yes! Call our team to arrange a time and date to be shown around.
  • Do I need to have photo ID to sign up? What is accepted?
    Yes this is a requirement to take out storage for security and insurance reasons. ID can be a UK photocard driving license, passport or biometric residence permit. Any other forms of photo ID will require an additional proof of address document. If you are a business customer and are a company director or senior manager, please also provide proof of your position such as a business card or a letter from Companies House. If you are a business customer but are not the company director or senior manager, please provide a letter from the business to confirm that you have the authority to sign the Customer License on behalf of the company.
  • How old do you have to be to hire a storage room?
    The minimum age to rent a storage unit is 18.
  • I have forgotten my access code. What do I do?
    Simply visit the site office during office hours with photo ID and we can issue a new access code.
  • How are your units accessed and secured?
    To access our secure facility customers utilize a unique 6 digit code which opens the gate to the facility and at the same time deactivates the alarm on your specific storage unit. Individual units are secured by padlocks secured within tamper resistant lock boxes. On leaving the facility, entering the PIN code opens the gate and simultaneously re-arms your unit alarms. CCTV monitoring and security lighting is in place across the facility.
  • What happens if I lose the key to my padlock?
    If you have lost both the main key and spare we can cut the lock should this be necessary. A charge will be incurred.
  • What hours can I access my storage unit?
    Hours for accessing storage unit are: Monday to Friday: 6.00am – 10.00pm Weekends & Bank holidays: 9.00am - 6.00pm Within these hours there is no limit on the frequency with which you visit the store. Should you need to access your storage out of hours this can often be arranged. Contact us on the usual number 0118 40 50 091 and we will do our best to help.
  • Can I utilize my own padlock?
    Customers are welcome to use their own padlocks but for security and insurance purposes it needs to meet some minimum specifications. If in doubt, please check the specification with our team on the usual contact details before purchasing your padlock. Alternatively, we can sell you a lock for £30.
  • What do I do if I have forgotten to reset my alarm by entering my PIN on exit?
    Should you forget to reactivate your alarm this will be re-armed by default after a short period.
  • Is it possible to use a forklift?
    This can be arranged with prior booking, whereby a trained operative can help you unload at a cost of £20 per 30 minutes.
  • Is it possible to rent part of a storage unit?
    It is not possible to rent part of a storage unit.
  • What are the dimensions of the storage units?
    Internal dimensions are: L:5.9m X W:2.4m X H:2.4m
  • Do you offer car & caravan storage?
    Our storage units can accommodate a car but are not large enough to hold a caravan. We do not have a separate storage facility for cars / caravans. Note: Check dimensions carefully if your car is non-standard height to ensure it can be accommodated.
  • Do you have smaller storage units available?
    At present we offer only offer one size storage unit.
  • Do I have to climb any stairs to get access to the storage units?
    No! Unlike most storage companies, all of our units are on the ground with direct vehicle access. No dragging boxes up stairs or in lifts!
  • Are your units only for business use?
    Our units are suitable for a range of uses whether you are a small company looking for somewhere to store equipment or stock or if you are a personal customer needing somewhere to store excess furniture or other items – our storage units are just what you need!
  • Do I need insurance?
    As with all self-storage providers, it is a requirement that all storers at Storagogo have suitable insurance in place, reflecting the value of the goods stored. We are happy to arrange insurance for you, just be prepared to tell us the value of your goods when you take out the storage agreement. Alternatively, we are happy for you to organize your own insurance, but you must provide proof that it covers off site storage. (It is our experience that household insurance typically does not include this).
  • Do I need to pay in advance?
    Yes – all payment is in advance. By doing it this way we avoid the need for credit checks.
  • Do I need to pay a deposit?
    You pay a security deposit which is refunded when at move out provided the facilities are left in the same condition as when you moved in. The deposit is equivalent to approximately two week’s storage fees (inc. VAT and excluding any special offers).
  • What payment methods do you accept?
    For the first payment, deposit, and for any ad hoc items such as padlocks / packaging etc we accept card payments and can accept any credit or debit card that displays a Visa, American Express, Diners, Discover, or MasterCard logo. For recurring monthly payments, we utilize Direct Debit whereby the relevant amount will be taken from your account at the same time each month.
  • What is the notice period to terminate a storage agreement?
    We require two weeks written notification to terminate a storage agreement.
  • Do you have a minimum stay?
    We have a minimum stay of 2 weeks.
  • What is Storagogo's privacy & cookie policy?
